Hope everyone is having 'fun' learning and going through your answers.

There is an error in English Unit 8 Supplementary Worksheet

Please refer to Question 5 of Vocabulary Discrete (Unit 8 Supplementary)

5. The oyster __________ its shell open and shut to push itself through the water.

The suggested answer is '3' - flits

1. To move about rapidly and nimbly.
2. To move quickly from one condition or location to another.
n.

2. Informal An empty-headed, silly, often erratic person.

The correct answer should be '4' - flaps

flap  (flp)
n.
1. A flat, usually thin piece attached at only one side.
2. A projecting or hanging piece usually intended to double over and protect or cover: the flap of an envelope.
3.
a. The act of waving or fluttering: the flap of the flag in the wind.
b. The sound produced by this motion.
4. A blow given with something flat; a slap.
v. flapped, flap·ping, flaps
v.tr.

2. To cause to move or sway with a fluttering or waving motion.

However, further research shows that oyster does not move at all once it settles in a particular location

"If a place for attachment cannot be found, the larvae sink to the bottom and die. If a suitable surface for attachment is found, the larva secretes a fluid that cements the left shell permanently to the object. Unless removed by some external force, the oyster will never move again."
